The application deliberately hides certain information, or certain users’ content or profiles are deliberately removed or demoted.

Examples:

Against:

Neutral:

Who is censoring and how are we censored by… When you’re on social media, it’s very bad actually, but it can be good, because when you have extreme right or like pedophiles or things like that… so it’s both ways.

In favor:

Tiktok has poor algorithms that block legitimate content but leave inappropriate and extremist political content up. Its unsafe for the under 18yrs old user.
