We use the definition that software is 'something used or associated with and usually contrasted with hardware'.(MerriamWebster) Or simply, programs for a computer.
In our current research, we selected user feedback on specific apps that are available on Apple's AppStore and/or on Google's Play Store. The computers in this case are therefore mostly mobile devices, with some exceptions such as the MS Word application which is used on other hardware too.
